Are The Warriors Out Of The Playoffs

Warriors eliminated from NBA playoffs after Game 6 loss to Lakers

Young reserves Kuminga and Moody shine, but it's not enough to prevent Warriors' exit

The Golden State Warriors' hopes of a repeat NBA championship came to an end on Friday night after they were eliminated from the playoffs by the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals. Despite a valiant effort from young reserves Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody, who each scored 16 points, the Warriors were unable to overcome a hot-shooting Lakers team that hit 20 three-pointers in the game.

Warriors' dynasty may be coming to an end

The loss to the Lakers marks the end of an era for the Warriors, who have won four NBA championships in the past eight years. The team's core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green is aging, and it's unclear if they will be able to maintain their dominance in the years to come. Head coach Steve Kerr acknowledged that the Warriors' dynasty may be coming to an end, saying, "We've had a great run, but all good things must come to an end eventually."

The Warriors will now have to regroup and figure out how to move forward. They have a number of young players who could step into bigger roles next season, but it remains to be seen if they will be able to replicate the success of the team's recent championship runs.
