Myrtle Beach Pelicans Take Two from Columbia Fireflies in Doubleheader
Pelicans Win 24th Consecutive Home Game

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans continued their winning ways with two wins over the Columbia Fireflies in Wednesday's doubleheader. The Pelicans won the first game 5-2 and the second game 4-3.
In the first game, the Pelicans scored all five of their runs in the first two innings. Ismael Munoz hit a two-run homer in the first inning, and Brayan Buelvas hit a three-run homer in the second inning.
Tanner Bibee started for the Pelicans and allowed two runs on four hits in four innings. He struck out five batters and walked one.
In the second game, the Pelicans scored all four of their runs in the first inning. Miguel Amaya hit a two-run homer, and Buelvas hit a two-run single.
DJ Herz started for the Pelicans and allowed three runs on five hits in four innings. He struck out four batters and walked one.
With the wins, the Pelicans have now won 24 consecutive home games. They are now 25-5 at home this season.
